As I drove to work one morning I spotted a lone cloud just hovering above downtown Los Angeles. By the time I got somewhere I could stop and take a picture, it had broken up a bit, but still looked really interesting.

Gorgeous day after a rainstorm. I kept checking to see whether the San Gabriel Mountains had snow, but the clouds never quite lifted. Even at sunset only the lower slopes were visible…but those clouds made for some spectacular sunset viewing.
Century Blvd closed down for #protest march near #LAX. This is the first time I can recall the pedestrian traffic being louder than the cars.
I saw Endeavour on one of its flybys today, and watched it land at LAX.
There were a few snags (like the fact that the space shuttle flew past the OTHER side of the building twice when I wasn’t expecting it), but that’s what makes it a story and not just a statement, right? Read on (plus more photos)!
